This week has been FANTASTIC for me. I cannot believe how much I LOVE teaching the 6th grade! The students seem very eager and excited. We are just getting our wheels turning and I already see that they have a passion to learn. As a teacher, it is so refreshing to work with students like these.
Thank you to the parents who have gone above and beyond and have bought extra supplies for my classroom. I was a bit worried about, but I can see that I have wonderful families on my team and it will be a great year!
Homework tonight: Blocks 1&2- Life Map
All Blocks- Short paragraph to practice MLA formatting. They are to give a scenario of a student who is turning in an assignment and heading it in MLA format. They have to include their made up person's name, the class they are in, what period or block they are in, the title of the assignment and the date it is due.
Here is an example of one we made today:
June Kaiser is working on her science class assignment on cell production. She is in Mr. Spradley’s 5th period. It is due on Feb. 5th, 2016.

Please do not forget to send signed paperwork for your kids this week. It makes it a lot easier for our awesome office staff if we get it all in THIS week :).
As always, let me know if you have any questions or concerns!
